Your choice of background color really sets the tone of your sign, and many factors go into it's selection. If your sign is going on or near your house, you'll want a color that compliments any accents on the building and contrasts the wall surface it's mounted on. If the sign is placed away from the building (like at the end of a long driveway), choose a background color that will let the sign stand out from it's surroundings.

Decorative Appliques:
Appliques can be added to any of our signs, or purchased separately to use as decorations
for your house. All are approximately 2" x 3", and all are gilded in 23k gold leaf.

If you are uncertain about a color combination, placement of an applique, or any other details of your sign, simply note it in the "Comments" field of your order form and we will address it in the layout approval process.
